These are the pictures from our Hawaiian vacation, November 2000. Because there are so
many pictures, this page references a bunch of smaller pages. (On each page,

We took a few pictures while enroute.
The group of us ended up staying in two houses. Most of us were at Hale Maana Hou, and the other four were at Hale Kai.
Hale Maana Hou is the larger of the two houses, with five bedrooms and a pool.
Both houses are on the beach. These pictures are of Hale Maana Hou and its views.
We arrived late Saturday evening. Sunday, we got up and went for a walk around the area. Once the others were up, we made went to the Champagne buffet at the Hyatt Regency Kauai. We wandered around the resort for a while afterward. After a while, we returned to the house and a group of us went snorkeling. We watched one of many beautiful sunsets. That evening, we ate dinner at Casa Di Amici.
We went diving on Monday afternoon with Doug and Debra Moeller, Jan Trumbo, and Joel Snyder. We use Fathom Five as our dive shop on Kauai. While we were on the boat dives, Jim Martin and Heather Bunch were taking the first part of their certification dive.
Monday night, Chris Stradtman arrived, and we went to dinner at Breneckke's Beach House.
Tuesday, Craig, Chris, Jan, Joel, and Doug went boat diving, while Jim and Heather continued with their certification dive (and passed!). Debra Moeller and I went in search of waterfalls.
Wednesday, Jan, Joel, Craig, and I went to Wiamea Canyon.
Thursday, Mechelle, Heather, and I went for a day at the spa at the Hyatt. When we got back, we got into the pool to enjoy the sunset.
Friday, Jan, Joel, Craig and I went to the Big Island to visit some friends in Kona. Some others went diving. When we returned, we met the others for dinner at A Pacific Cafe.
Saturday, we met Bill Heinze and his wife Beverly for lunch at Keoki's Paradise. We wandered around the nearby shops for a while, and then went snorkeling - first out past the sugar cane fields, and then at Breneckke's Beach. We had fajitas for dinner to use up as many leftovers as possible.
Sunday morning, Craig and I went and took pictures of the nearby houses.
We ate brunch at the Marriott (used to be the Westin), and then went to the airport for our return trip.
