Again, a group of us spent a week at the Outer Banks. Here are some pictures from the vacation. This will be updated throughout the week as more pictures are taken and as other participants donate their pictures. This year's participants are Deb and Dan Young, the Kissel family (Andy, Dar, Jenny and Drew), Kevin Fagley, Dave Degroote, Dan Van Clief, Leo Hower, Craig Watkins, and myself (Eileen Christman).
These are pictures Craig took of the house and gazebo:
Craig, Kevin, and I went to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse on
Monday. It has moved from it's formal location at the shore to a location
inland. Two of these pictures show the former location, one is a shot
up the beach (view of Buxton), and one is a view of the point.
Andy took some pictures to add to the collection. Here are a couple more of the house,
including a couple of us (Leo and me) surfing the web over a wireless connection, and one
with a group of us in the hot tub.
We also had several water battles - there were numerous splash balls, several super
soakers, and of course, the human cannonball.
Here's a view of the gazebo from the beach, and a view up and down the beach from the
gazebo.
Here are some of the other activities on the beach...
Sometimes we eat out, and sometimes we eat in. Craig is opening a bottle of Merlot for
some of us, and everyone raises their glasses.
